The Agarwal Family has always been passionate about food. Whenever we travelled across India and abroad, we explored different cuisines and flavors. But every time we returned home to Ayodhya, we felt something was missing - a place that served truly good, pure vegetarian food without compromise.
That thought soon turned into a dream. It wasn't easy. The plan felt wild, the challenges were many, and we made our share of mistakes. But with optimism, persistence, and the belief that Ayodhya deserved the best, we kept moving forward- learning, improving, and never giving up.
The name Kanak was chosen with love - rooted in Ayodhya's history, culture, and spirituality. From the very beginning, our motto was simple: Pure Vegetarian Food. No adulteration. No compromise. Whatever we promise, we serve. Hence, our tagline - "A Pure Veg Delight."
On 14th January 2024, Kanak opened its doors in Niyawan, Ram Path - and the response was overwhelming. From Ayodhya locals to NRIs and even international guests, everyone embraced us with love.
